We are at the forefront of environmental advocacy in Australia

The Wilderness Society was established in 1976 to help save the Franklin River, and has since played an important role in many of Australia’s great conservation campaigns.

The Wilderness Society employs some 150 staff, right across Australia. From front-line campaigners and community organisers, to accountants, graphic designers and business managers – our people are the best and most passionate in the business.
